Call For Abstract - Submission deadline extended till 9th July

The 24th Formation Evaluation Symposium of Japan will be held at Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation - Technology & Research Center (JOGMEC-TRC), Chiba on October 11 - 12, 2018. All persons involved in oil, gas, geothermal, geo-engineering industry and scientific drillings are invited to submit abstracts of papers for presenting at the symposium. The symposium will cover a wide area of Formation Evaluation, including Reservoir Characterization, Geophysics and Geomechanics applications, Methane Hydrates, Geothermal, Scientific Drilling, CO2 Geological Storage and New Tool / New Technology. The special session this year is “Complex Reservoirs”.
Please follow the instruction of Call for Abstract, and submit the application form by July 9, 2018 by email.The abstract shall contain ONLY text up to 400 words in English in the given form.

Access

From Makuhari-Hongo Station (JR Sobu Line; 40 min from Tokyo station):

From Kaihin-Makuhari Station (JR Keiyo Line; 30 min. from Tokyo station):

  • 10 min. by taxi or 20 min. on foot
  • 10 min. by City bus (see map and bus schedule in the program)

City bus services are available from Makuhari-Hongo Station and Kaihin Makuhari Station. Please refer to the bus schedule in the program. The fare is 170yen. There are several bus lines between Makuhari-Hongo Station and Kaihin Makuhari station. Please take “Columbus City Line” and get off at “Sekiyu Kaihatsu Gijyutsu Center”.
